CANNA CalMag Agent is a water conditioner and pH stabiliser that adds balanced calcium and magnesium. It's there to fix the problem soft water creates, not to feed the plant.
What it's for
Soft water or reverse-osmosis water — specifically where your source water sits below EC 0.4. Primarily a coco-line product, since coco with RO water is where the calcium and magnesium shortfall bites hardest.
How much to use
Dose to a target, not to a fixed number. Add CalMag until your source water reaches EC 0.4 mS/cm. CANNA Australia give a typical range of 5–10ml per 10 litres, depending on water quality and what you're growing.
If your water is very poor, blend RO and tap water to around EC 0.2 first, then bring it up with CalMag.
Worth knowing — the bit people get wrong
Add CalMag last, after your base nutrients and other additives.
The pH will drop first and then climb over the next 24–48 hours. Wait for it to settle before adjusting anything — chasing it with pH Up straight away is how people end up well over target.
Shake well before use. Store between 10–30°C, out of direct sun, away from heat and frost.
