Aphidius colemani is a small parasitoid wasp supplied by Bugs for Bugs. Females lay their eggs inside aphids; the parasitised aphids turn into bronze “mummies” and a new wasp emerges from each one. Supplied as a pack of 500 wasp pupae.
Curative: 0.5–2 wasps/m², a minimum of three releases a week apart
Mummies can be placed in release boxes hung on the plants, which are sold separately.
Storage
Release as soon as adult wasp activity is visible. They can be held in the container for a couple of days at 6–12°C.
Ordered fresh for you
We don't keep live insects sitting on a shelf. When you place an order we bring them in from the insectary, then repack and dispatch them the same day they reach us, with cool packs. Allow around a week door to door, and release them as soon as they arrive.
