Hypoaspis (Stratiolaelaps scimitus, formerly Hypoaspis miles) is a soil-dwelling predatory mite for pests that spend part of their life cycle down in the growing media. Supplied as a tub of 20,000 mites at all life stages, in a carrier you sprinkle straight onto the surface.
What it controls
Fungus gnats, sciarid flies, shore flies, phorid flies, and the soil-dwelling stage of thrips.

- Greenhouse crops: 50 mites/m²
- Bedding plants: 100 mites/m²

Ordered fresh for you
We don't keep live insects sitting on a shelf. When you place an order we bring them in from the insectary, then repack and dispatch them the same day they reach us, with cool packs. Allow around a week door to door, and release them as soon as they arrive.
